1st School in Maasai Land
Namanga, Kenya. Feb. 16th, 2010. Our first school in Maasailand has officially started. Here is a note sent to us from Bishop Zephaniah Orao.
Greetings: I have traveled to Namanga leaving KIsumu on the 15th and arriving on the 16th at 10:30 AM. come 2:pm we were in class. 19 students registered and I was told many more are coming. I talked to them about the school and how effective it has been in several areas where we have tasted it.
After the introduction, I took them through the first session of the Foundations of the Faith. We had the group discussion for 20 minutes since I was leaving for Kisumu the same evening. They were so interested that they did not want to stop the descussion. The excitment was so real that they wanted even to know more about the school , mainly what to expect.
I therefore did formally launch the school. We have ISOM programme finally in Maasailand. Samburu is next. God is at work.

I just talked with Pastor Sumare in Namanga and there are over 30 students at this writing. He said he will stop the enrollment at 40 and begin another class in a few months. Thanks for helping us to take these schools from a vision to a reality.
